Harelaw is very exposed and good boat handling and use of a DROGUE is essential to a successful day. If in any doubt about engine or boat operation please ask for help or advice and save problems later.
Catch & Release anglers are expected to unhook fish in the water or a wet net with wet hands and cause the minimum stress, no boobys or barbed hooks to be used. Fish should never be dragged onto the bank or landed into the boat.
Please respect the bank anglers when fishing and casting too or motoring near shore.
Never start engine within 30metres/50feet of the shore.
